Zero Subcontracting

Turnkey Siding was built around a simple idea: homeowners in Southeast Louisiana shouldn’t have to call 3 different contractors to figure out which siding is right for their home. One contractor should know all the materials, understand how each one performs in this climate, and handle the entire job from first measurement to final cleanup. That’s the company we set out to build, and it’s the one we run today.

Most siding companies in the area specialize in one or two materials, which works fine until a homeowner needs something different. They get referred out, or they get sold on whatever the contractor happens to stock, or they get work done by someone with limited experience on an unfamiliar material. That gap is why Turnkey exists.

We install all 8 major siding materials: brick, concrete, fiber cement, insulated siding, metal, stucco, vinyl, and wood. Not as a gimmick, but because matching the right material to the right home, the right budget, and the right exposure to Gulf Coast weather is what actually produces results that last.

20+ Years on the Gulf Coast

Two decades in Southeast Louisiana teaches you things no classroom covers. You learn which materials hold up after a Category 4 and which ones peel, warp, or let moisture in at the first seam. You learn how humidity cycles between January and August stress fasteners, caulk lines, and substrate differently than they would in a drier climate. You learn that a south-facing wall in New Orleans absorbs heat loads that would be unusual anywhere north of the Mason-Dixon line.

That experience shapes every decision we make on a job. We know which fiber cement products handle Gulf Coast moisture without delaminating. We know how to detail metal siding so expansion gaps don’t become failure points after a summer heat cycle. We know where stucco needs weep screeds and where it doesn’t. We’ve seen the callbacks other contractors left behind, and we’ve built our installation methods around avoiding them.

Hurricane seasons matter here in a way they simply don’t in most of the country. We install siding to meet or exceed wind-resistance standards appropriate for the Gulf Coast. We flash penetrations correctly. We don’t take shortcuts on housewrap because it’s hidden once the siding goes up. The work we do has to survive weather events that will test it, and we plan for that from the start.

Licensed for Both Residential and Commercial

Turnkey Siding carries a Louisiana Residential Contractor license (License #890459) and a Commercial Contractor license (License #3667). Holding both is less common than most people realize. Many siding companies are licensed for one category or the other, which limits the projects they can legally accept and the insurance coverage they carry.

For homeowners, our residential license means the work is done by a contractor who has met Louisiana’s bonding, insurance, and competency requirements for residential construction. For business owners, property managers, and developers, our commercial license opens the door to multifamily buildings, retail strip centers, office exteriors, and light industrial applications that a residential-only contractor can’t touch.

It also means that when a job has mixed-use elements, or when a project spans a building with both residential and commercial components, we can handle it without bringing in a second contractor to split the scope.

One Crew, Start to Finish

Turnkey does not subcontract. The crew that shows up on day one is the crew that finishes the job.

This matters for a few reasons. Accountability is the obvious one: when the same people who installed your siding are responsible for the final walkthrough, there’s no finger-pointing between a general contractor and a sub when something isn’t right. Quality control is the less obvious one. Subcontracted labor often means workers who’ve been briefed on a job they didn’t estimate and aren’t invested in the outcome. Our crew knows every job because they’ve been on every job.

There’s also a practical element that homeowners often mention: no strangers cycling through your property. You know who to expect on site. The project manager who took your call is the same person checking the work at the end of the day. That consistency matters, especially on larger jobs that run across multiple weeks.

What We Install

We work with all 8 major siding materials. Every one of them is an active part of what we do, not a footnote on a capabilities list.

  • Brick — Classic, durable, virtually maintenance-free
  • Concrete — Heavy-duty impact resistance for commercial and high-exposure applications
  • Fiber Cement — The Gulf Coast workhorse; moisture-resistant, paint-retaining, dimensionally stable
  • Insulated Siding — Added thermal performance with a finished exterior in one product
  • Metal — Standing seam and panel systems for commercial and modern residential builds
  • Stucco — Seamless traditional finish well-suited to Louisiana’s architectural heritage
  • Vinyl — Affordable, low-maintenance, and highly adaptable to most residential profiles
  • Wood — Authentic character for historic homes and high-end custom applications

Not every material is right for every project. We’ll tell you which one fits your situation and why.
